This beautiful waterfall is located at Henrhyd Falls in the Brecon Beacons, Wales. The amazing waterfall was used in the final scenes of The Dark knight Rises. I love this place and have been visiting it for a few years. The waterfall has definitely become more popular recently as it was confirmed that this waterfall was used in the film. When I went there the other day I couldn't believe |
how many people were there! A few years ago I could set up my camera and not have to worry to much about getting people in the background, but it has become difficult! But it's really nice to see people visiting the waterfall because it is really magical.
Getting to the waterfall is really easy, and there is a (very) small car park. The path is clear and there are bridges and stairs to help get to the waterfall. WARNING it can be very muddy and sometimes slippery, so I would recommend a good pair of wellies or walking shoes. The best part is that you can actually walk behind the waterfall. Yes you will get wet and yes it is very cold! So you may also want to wear a raincoat and a big winter coat if you're going in the colder months. |
There is also another path that takes you on a walk through the woodland area, where is there is also another little mini waterfall that you can view from the top.
I love visiting this waterfall and would definitely recommend!
